Live Seminar Options for Healthcare Professionals

We offer the following informative seminars. Whether you are new to diabetes or a seasoned expert, you'll leave informed and ready to go. Our teaching team keeps abreast of the latest developments in diabetes care and management. So, not only do we review the latest science of diabetes, we also keep it real, practical and fun.   

Level 1 - Novice
If you want to enter the dynamic and rewarding field of diabetes education and management, but aren’t sure how to get started, our one-of-a-kind program will provide the foundation necessary so you can feel confident and prepared to provide education and guidance to patients with diabetes.

Our 4 day program is designed for health care professionals (NPs, PAs, RDs, PharmDs, RNs, Case Managers, Social Workers,) who are new to the diabetes field. The first weekend of the program is primarily lecture and case studies describing the fundamentals of diabetes care and self-management. The second weekend focuses on educational principles and behavior change strategies.  You can choose to attend one weekend or both. Level 2 - Professional
Whether you have some experience in the field of diabetes education or are thinking about taking the Certified Diabetes Educator^® (CDE®) exam, this course is designed for you.

Our team of experts has developed a diabetes resource program, where you can customize your educational path to reach your goal of certification. We offer live courses, online CE courses and extensive resource materials to provide you with the critical information that diabetes educators need. And all of our programs are nationally accredited by the CDR, so hours earned count toward your CDE^® required CE hours!

Level 3 - Advanced Level
These programs are specifically geared toward Advanced Practice and experienced health care professionals who provide high-level diabetes management and care. Our live and online courses offer fast paced content designed to build on previous significant diabetes management experience. Those needing to CE to renew their CDE^® license or those planning to take the BC-ADM exam can also benefit from these one-of-a-kind symposia. Both our Diabetes Educator Course and Advanced Level Workshop provide a combination of clinical updates plus hands-on learning for designed for the experienced health care professional who is seeking a comprehensive rveview of the latest in diabetes management and care. Accreditation: All of our courses are accredited by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #12640 and the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) DI002. Since we are recognized by CDR, all hours earned can be used toward CDE®, regardless of profession.
